We have developed custom software and sampling methods that allow us to blend different types of scrap together to meet our customer's requirements. And we've developed a scrap charge design program for use in steelmaking facilities.

At Ferrous, we've shipped more than a million gross tons of SmartScrap™ to EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) shops and have had zero disputes about our claims. Our product is stable because our process is capable. And we've provided sustainable value to our customers by removing obstacles like unwanted process variation due to spikes in chemistry from traditional lower cost scrap.
