The Alchemist Scrap Management System is an iPad app that provides users with the tools necessary to achieve reductions in raw material costs.
Charge mixes are selected from available inventory to meet the desired molten metal chemistries. User interface modules provide the ability to constrain the model based upon other characteristics such as density and size.
The use of linear programming techniques insure that the optimization model produces true least cost material selection subject to user defined constraints. |
